My name’s David Ho, I’m 39 and I’m a professional wedding & portrait photographer living in Edinburgh. I’ve been photographing weddings & portraits all over Scotland & the UK for over 13 years now. I’m good at what I do and I love what I do! To be invited to document the happiest day in someone’s life is a real privilege and an absolute joy. Alongside that comes a responsibility which I never take lightly. At a wedding, my objective is to provide the bride & groom with the most breathtaking pictures possible, each one reflecting the people, the venue, the details, the atmosphere and emotions of the entire day. The whole story. Aside from the photography, it is important to me that I contribute positively to the overall enjoyment of the wedding itself. How do I photograph weddings? This is a hard one to pin down because I’ve grown so much as a photographer in the last 13 years. My approach to wedding photography is down-to-earth, friendly & very candid. The pictures I create are romantic, glamourous and always fun! At a wedding, I click away constantly, photographing your wedding day with the maximum creativity and the minimum of fuss. I love taking off-the-cuff pictures that are natural, spontaneous and full of life - ’real’ pictures which will make you smile and send a shiver down your spine every time you look at them. In addition to all the spontaneous, candid shots, I also like to purposefully create beautiful pictures. Pictures with a wow factor!
