Naturals in front of the camera.

I always love shooting at Mar Hall. Something special usually comes of it. I spent a wonderful morning capturing the fun of the getting-ready stages with Alison, her bridesmaids Jennifer & Lynne and her mum & dad. And Mark Owen. Yep, Take That were resident and Mark was sporting enough to jump into the pics! And who could blame him, Alison & the girls looked fantastic. Thank you Colin & Alison for asking me to be your wedding photographer for your wedding in Helensburgh and wedding reception at Mar Hall. You were a pleasure to photograph. And it helped tremendously, I thought, that we did a pre-wedding shoot together a couple of months earlier. You were both naturals in front of the camera lens when the time came. I’m delighted with the pictures so far – I think the fun and relaxed nature of the day really shines through! Special mention to Lynne (bridesmaid) & Stewart (usher) whose wedding I photographed a few years back – great to see you both again! Some folk just don’t change:-)

A glamourous yet tender portait of Alison.

Alison loved her veil and I tried to highlight it wherever possible.

Take That were resident at Mar Hall but Mark's been outshone this time. The girls were at Take That's concert a couple of nights before too! What a turn up for the books.

Nothing really beats a good confetti shot outside the church. Must-have really.

A handful of posed groupshots are another must-have at weddings. Here is Colin & Alison's wedding party.

Love the architecture at Mar Hall. Lovely shot of the bride & groom!

Thank you Jennifer. I love the pictures so far! It was lovely photographing everyone. I still remember the quiet calm of the getting-ready stages! And taking photographs in the gardens outside Mar Hall before leaving for the ceremony. Hope everyone had a day to remember :-) David

    Dear David

Thank you very much to you and Andy for all your efforts at Colin and Alison’s wedding on Friday. The first photos look absolutely superb! Some of the best I’ve ever seen…not that I’m biased :-) Can’t wait to see the full album! Any couple getting married shouldn’t look any further than you guys!

    Kind regards
    Graham Hill (Colin’s best man)

Thank you Graham, my pleasure! And thanks for your help on the day. Along with able ushers Colin and Stewart, you helped to make the group photography quick and seemless and therefore a hugely enjoyable process for everyone involved. Every wedding should have 3 groomsmen like yourselves :-)
